The Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) was established in 1990 and was deeply recognized as the largest membership-based organization in Cambodia. CCC currently has more than 160 NGOs as members, comprised of both local and international NGOs. CCC provides diverse services for member and partnership organizations, as well as for the improvement of CSOs in coordination, advocacy, and networking for institutional effectiveness and better enabling environment.
Therefore, CCC organized different meetings such as Annual General Meeting (AGM), and the regular Bi-Monthly Meeting (BMM) and another regional learning forum as well as group and individual visit for members and partners. CCC experience series of regional workshop co-organized with members, partners, and provincial NGO network to learn and discuss on concern, need, challenges, and development trend affecting civil society with CSOs and other stakeholders.
Beside Phnom Penh, CCC had focused on other provinces including Ratanakiri, Kratie, Stung Treng, Kampot, Sihanouk Ville, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Kampong Thom, and Siem Reap, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, Battambang, Mondulkiri, Takeo, and Kampong Speu. The key thematic of focusing mostly on development trends, enabling an environment for CSO, strengthening good governance, innovation, social inclusion, public quality services, global development agenda, and financial sustainability.
This regional workshop will be focused on Development Trend Impacts on CSOs, which co-organized between CCC and Provincial NGO Network in Kratie and Kampot. This workshop will discuss on the updated status of Law on Associations and Non-Government Organizations (LANGO) and taxation, assessment of Social Media Tools for ICT, updated on the localization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and current status of CSO space, IP3&ISAF, and other opportunities for provincial NGO network.
Objective
To update on development of policy impacts on CSOs such as CSDGs, LANGO, and Taxation
· To share and discuss our challenges, preparation response to the trend, and disseminate of a
small grand.
· To share and assess of the communication channels through social media tools.
