CCC History

2021 - 2025

1. New modality of the GPP certification system has been launched officially.

2. The capacity development interventions of CCC, including Holistic Institutional Development (HID), learning forums, and Do No Harm (DNH) are more practical and better respond to the needs of its beneficiaries.

3. The Community Based Organization Strategic Working Group (CBO SWG) has been formed.

4. Dozens of researches related to the operation and enabling environment of civil society in Cambodia have been produced.

5. The government-CSOs dialogue at national level is coordinated by CCC,

6. Under the support and capacity strengthening of CCC to provincial NGO networks, the provincial partnership dialogue at sub-national level is coordinated by the provincial NGOs networks

7. Technical and high-level taxation dialogue have been convened generating many points of mutual understanding between the government and civil society.

8. Having maintained its famous status as the prominent membership-based platform for NGOs in Cambodia and implementing our roles very professional and having accountability.

9. The Civil Society Fund (CSF) was established and seen an effective agenda to promote financial sustainability of civil society within the country.

10. CCC joins many international networks including Forus, ADA, AGNA, CIVICUS, and Global Standards.

2010

CCC celebrates 20 years of serving the NGO sector in Cambodia. Turnover exceeds US$1million for the first time finance, IT and HR manuals all revised to fit new dynamism, and a customer charter introduced.

Commissioned two studies of Cambodia’s NGO sector, NGO Contributions to Cambodia’s Development 2004-2009, and 2010 Review of NGO Sector in Cambodia : Reflections, Challenges and Choices.

AusAID and the USAID Program on Rights and Justice (PRAJ) favored NGOs applying for funding that are participating in the NGO GPP Voluntary Certification System(VCS).

CCC represented Cambodian CSOs in the First Global Assembly of the Open Forum for CSO Development Effectiveness – elected to its Global Facilitation Group.
