CCC Bi-Monthly Members Meeting

This 255th Bi-Monthly meeting was convened on 06 December 2018 at Diakonia Center (KSSA/ICF), where CCC welcomes seven new members such as Community Capacities for Development (CCD), ForumZFD, Komar Rikreay (KMR), OIC Cambodia, Operations Enfants du Cambodge (OEC), Rural Development Association (RDA) and Society for Action and Change for Rural Education and Development (SACRED).
In addition to development approaches sharing from new members, participants were able to get results on research findings from CSOs Sustainable Index, to share and generate feedback/inputs from CCC members for CCC 2019 Operation Plan, and up-coming Annual General Meeting, and also to share and discuss on current update of legal framework (which more focus on pension fund, seniority and twice payment per-month for salary).
CCC believes that, through this meeting, participants could share knowledge and experiences and the common concerns on development challenges and prioritize the issues to be addressed by relevant stakeholders.
This meeting is organized to achieve the following objectives:
- To welcome new members and sharing of members’ development approaches
- To share research results on CSOs Sustainable Index
- To share and generate feedback/inputs from CCC members for CCC 2019 Operational Plan, and up- coming Annual General Meeting
- Share and discuss on current update of legal framework (which more focus on pension fund, seniority and twice payment per-month for salary)

Taxation Workshop
The Taxation Law of Cambodian is the duty of imposing charges on citizens and corporate entities that must be implemented. It's the huge risk factor for CSO if they don't apply to Taxation Law. Responding to the recently updated, CCC is going to organize the special meeting on 27 September 2017 on Taxation implication to CSO.
Bi-monthly meeting
To welcome new members and sharing of member’s development approaches; ; To share results of civil society sustainability index in Cambodia; To share and discuss on the results of GHP‐midterm review and key suggestions/recommendation for program’s interventions for CCC members; AOB
Voluntary Group Annual Reflection Workshop
To promote the synergy of the contribution of the voluntary group members to improve the quality of CSO, the Cooperation on Committee for Cambodia has organized a half-day reflection workshop on 14th November 2018 at Tonle Bassac II restaurant.
Taxation Law for Civil Society Organizations
To promote more awareness and understanding of application of Taxation Law on the Associations and Non-Governmental Organizations and others (related to tax obligation for NGOs). To enable space for CSOs to raise issues related to the implications of Taxation Law and to solve/address some critical questions related to the application of the Taxation Law.
