The bi-monthly meeting for member organizations of CCC was organized on 1 April 2014 to bring the leaders and senior managements of member organizations together to share and discuss on CCC's By Law amendment, progress of program implement, and national development progress and challenges. The meeting was organized into four sessions such:
Session 1: Update on progress a) CCC Governance Hub Program (GHP) b) Announcement to the CCC by-laws amendment Question and Answers (10mn)
Session 2: Social Accountability Framework which was presented by H.E Cheam Pe A, Deputy Director General of General Department of Local Administration Director of M&E Division Ministry of Interior (MOI)
Session 3: Update on National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) by H.E Poch Sovanndy, Deputy Director of Planning Ministry of Planning.
Session 4: Civil Society Organization's Future Outlooks which discussed on CSO Green Paper: Key issues/ challenges, proposed strategies, and key roles to play for 2014 and beyond.
This sessions have divided participants in 9 small groups to discussion three question:
- What are key challenges/ key priorities need to be added or removed?
- What are key strategies to address these key challenges?
- What are the roles and responsibilities of local and international NGOs, and working groups/sub-committee to respond to these priorities? Reports to plenary and conclusion.
It was not only share and update on these topic sessions but participants are encouraged to build networking and collaboration among CSOs.
