The workshop intends to express perspective from civil society in reaction to the recent policy development of the Royal Government of Cambodia in order to influence the process of the policy development. In alignment with the international democratic best practices, civil society has suggested that the development of the laws will be more productive if all stakeholders are able to give their meaningful inputs to the policy development process. The meeting aims at inclusive and participatory discussions on the effective implementation of laws and policies through meaningful dialogue between the actors involved including government, civil society organizations and development partners.
The objectives of this briefing workshop will be focused on:
- Increased national and international knowledge in policy development;
- Sharing view and concepts from the perspective of civil society organizations;
- Discussion for better laws and policy formulation in Cambodia.
