Briefing Workshop

PHNOM PENH (21 May 2015) - Speaking to 230 representatives of Development Partners, the government, Civil Society Organizations, and Embassies at the briefing workshop on “ Policy Development and Civil Society Organization” 21 May 2015. Wan-Hea Lee, the country representative for the U.N.'s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) expressed her support on the civil space and human rights especially on the draft of LANGO.
"This is the first time in recent memory that four UN organizations have come together and issued opinion piece on this draft law," said Wan-Hea Lee.
The objectives of this briefing workshop are to increase the national and international knowledge in policy development, to sharing view and concepts from the perspective of civil society organizations, and to discussion for better laws and policy formulation in Cambodia.
