Background
The Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia (RHAC) is an indigenous Cambodian non-governmental organization (NGO), which was established in 1996 with a strong determination to bring quality health services to the community, especially for the poor and vulnerable sections of the population. RHAC is an active collaborating partner and works closely with the Ministry of Health in supporting its Health Centers to improve quality, access and utilization of services. At the community level, RHAC supports a network of community based health volunteers to promote access to mother and child health services at public facilities. RHAC has a network of 15 non-profit clinics that provide a full range of quality services in sexual and reproductive health (SRH). Since 1997, RHAC has been the pioneer and continues to work with young people to advocate for and improve their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We closely work with the Ministry of Education and partners on the introduction of Life Skills Education-Comprehensive Sexuality Education (LSE-CSE) to schools, and use innovative approach to increase access to SRHR information by young people and other target groups, in addition to our expertise in delivering friendly services meeting their varied needs.
