The Youth Council of Cambodia (YCC) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit youth organization.

Background

A new generation of young Cambodians wants to play role in safeguarding our future. Cambodian youth have participated actively in social development with a unique different vision. The Youth Council of Cambodia (YCC) was founded on 10 December 2001 which consists of the Cultural and Environmental Preservation Association (CEPA), Khmer Democratic Youth Association (KDYA), Khmer Students Association (KSA), Khmer Youth Association (KYA), Students Movement for Democracy (SMD), and United Natural Khmer Students (UNKS). YCC was officially registered at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), through letter N° 1059 s>C>N, dated on October 14, 2002 which signed by co-ministers.
