Here are the core values: • Ownership leads to sustainable development; • Respect of diversity enables good participation; • Transparency and accountability create trust from stakeholders; • Learning enables us to adapt to circumstance; • Network creates strong voice that lead to change. Here are the principles: • Focus is on supporting development of local level civil society, with links to others; • Indigenous people organization (IPOs), indigenous community based organization (ICBOs), and non-governmental organization (NGOs)- all are equal; • That requires a program of learning between local levels, from national level and from the Asia region; • Maximize input and direction by peoples groups toward a common goal-self-reliant; • Flexibility to respond when need, not finance driven-based on agreement.
My Village’s mission is to provide high quality support to local civil societies for improving natural resource-dependent livelihoods.
My Village envisions indigenous communities in Cambodia are self-reliant and living with improved quality of life.
My Village’s goal is indigenous communities’ rights and natural resources are maintained while their livelihoods are improved”.
