Overview
The Social Health Protection Association (SHPA) of Cambodia was established in 2011 as a member-owned umbrella organization by non-governmental social health protection operators to provide a collective voice and platform for collaboration, enable access to high quality technical support and capacity building, draw in greater financial resources and facilitate information sharing and policy development with the wider social protection sector. Since its establishment, SHPA has positioned itself as a key stakeholder for Cambodia’s SHP development and SHPA’s member organizations support the implementation of Health Equity Funds (HEFs) as HEFs Operators (HEFOs) and also manage other social health protection schemes.
