Overview

CTA is a neutral, non-political association. It serves the benefits of its members and the public. It is a membership association, with members including patients with Thalassaemia, parents of such patients and friends or interested individuals or organizations. CTA is a member of Thalassaemia International Federation. CTA is a non-governmental organization and works closely but independently with the Ministry of Health and related institutions (such as the National Pediatric Hospital and the National Institution of Public Health), and any other government bodies who are interested to advance the cause of thalassaemia.
