Overview

The central aim of our program is to equip the community and its people to progress beyond meeting their basic needs by helping them to break the mental (attitude) and practical (skills and knowledge) barriers that keep them from achieving sustainable benefits of self-development. Project carried out by FH Cambodia in Otdor Mean Chey province include integrated child focused community development and local leadership development, along with a pilot livelihood project based in a nearby district of Siem Reap province. FHC carries out these programs in cooperation and coordination with local village members and leaders, commune authorities, district/provincial/national level offices of the Ministry of Rural Development, churches and other Cambodian organizations and associations.

FH Cambodia (FHC), previously named Food for the Hungry International/Cambodia (FHI/C), is a Christian non-profit organization committed to equipping people and their community to move beyond meeting their basic needs through village-based, integrated self-development.

We walk with communities by: - Empowering community leaders to serve the poor through village development plans. - Facilitating community members in learning Biblical truth. - Developing partnerships committed to overcoming all forms of poverty

The whole community is overcoming all forms of poverty as churches, leaders and families serve together effectively to help the poor fulfill their God-given potential and to develop the next generation of leaders.
