Pharmaciens Sans Frontières (PSF), an international, non-governmental organization, was established in 1985 in France to contribute to the enhancement of the universal right to quality health care. PSF is active in both emergency and development programs. PSF-CI actions cover different fields, aiming at improving the geographical and financial accessibility to quality pharmaceutical care for the most vulnerable populations, within respect of Good Pharmacy Practice and rational use of drug. The association’s programs reflect its commitment at all stages of the medication chain. From national procurement centres to the smallest health centre, Pharmaciens Sans Frontières opens the door to drugs so that they get to the populations who need them at a most affordable price. From the support to quality control laboratories to drugs analyses in the field, PSF paves the way to quality. From training sessions to seminars, PSF paves the ways to the improvement of national health staff skills.

Pharmaciens Sans Frontieres-CI has been active in Cambodia from October 1990 and committed in different fields: one of its main program was technical support provided to National Laboratory for Drug quality control during three years. In parallel, PSF-CI has been working on drug rationalization amongst 5 provinces in Cambodia. From 1996, PSF-CI decided to join common efforts in Cambodia to combat HIV/AIDS through several projects currently going on. Current projects 1- SAHAKA DAMBAY SOKAPHEAP project: Objectives: To provide quality STI services for populations in high risk situations (brothel based and freelance sex workers, women supplementing their income by selling sex, partners of sex workers, youth and MSM ) To provide outreach STI/HIV education, peer support and free condoms for individuals in high risk situations To promote referral to HIV counseling, testing and care for populations in high risk situations to improve health outcomes and reinforce prevention messages 2- Technical support to NCHADS OI/ARV logistic Management Objectives: Support NCHADS to strengthen logistic management of ARV and other HIV AIDS related supplies at the OD level. 3- STI/HIV Prevention and Care For Those Most At Risk: The SMARTgirl and MStyle Programs Implement targeted and branded behavior change approaches for subgroups of MARPs that emphasize risk reduction and promote safer sexual practices Provide and promote access to health information, products and services among most at risk populations.
