Background

The Cambodian Women Entrepreneur Association (CWEA) was formed in July 2011, with the initiative support from The Minister of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs. CWEA was launched on March 17, 2012, and has grown from 14 to 300++ women businesses owners that registered with CWEA. And it is continually growing at the average rate of 10 new members registering every month.

We want to see Cambodian women Entrepreneurs and their businesses start, grow and succeed in their industries and make a meaningful impact in the economic development of the country.

Vision

Is to encourage and support the growth of women-owned business in Cambodia.

Goal

The objective of CWEA is to provide a representative platform for women in business to bring issues to the attention of government, the business community at large and the media for the purpose of improving the business environment and facilitating the growth of business activity in which women are constructively involved. We also aim to provide networking opportunities for members, share information and met with stakeholders and manage industry-specific awards.
