Background

Social Reform Society of Kuwait was registered legitimacy of Kuwait government in 1963. Its work in development field and humanitarian concerned all over the world. This association has 22 offices in worldwide. As a developing country: the government of Cambodia needed participation from others partner in order to upgrade the social development, human resources and humanitarian.The Social Reform Society of the State of Kuwait was decided to improve the people’s living condition, human resources and social development in Cambodia. To achieve our goal of social development and humanitarian in Cambodia, we need to find a partner who have the same destination, cooperation project in order to join hands and promoting the development in Cambodia. Based on this principle, we signed the treaty with an association that have the same destination and corporation in order to help Cambodia in development field. The association that we have signed is the Cambodian Al-Barakah Charitable Association_ CBCA_ that is located in Cambodia. The agreement was signed in 2007 for being a long partnership for general development. The purpose of this agreement is for contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between people and government of Kuwait with people and government of Cambodia. We came to Cambodia in 2007, and we have joined efforts to assist all the obstacles in order to contribute rehabilitation and development field in this territory (Cambodia). We got the taste of everything we have faced such obstacles and difficulties on the way of our work. These experiences encouraged us to be stronger in our work. The purpose of our effort is just to spread the principle of “loving, understanding and cooperating with both Muslim and non- Muslims in all conditions. Thought, even we faced a lots of problems in our assessment, but we are happy to see the laughing and smiling of orphaned children with full of hope and of patients and victims whom received assistance and relief. We sincerely promise that our activities will be continued this important work forever as long as the blood still move in our body.
