Background

IFDO was founded in 1994, to help rural households in Tramkok District, Takeo Province, support themselves by responsibly managing their own resources. IFDO has a board of directors and experienced field and administrative staff, comprised of three women and five men – all are non-paid, dedicated volunteers who were born, reared, and live in Tramkok. Registered with the Ministry of council, our organization is non-governmental, non-political, independent, and neutral. The International Friendship Development Organization (IFDO) of Cambodia, founded in 1994,IFDO has shifted its priority toward its humanitarian activities in Tramkok District, Takeo Province, Cambodia. They are the ongoing activities of IFDO for over 17 years (since before becoming UNHCR partner in 2006) Our organization is registered with the Council of Ministers as a Non-Governmental Organization and assists the development of Cambodia.
