Background
Farmer and Water Net is the first national network of Farmers Water User Communities (FWUCs) which currently from 11 provinces such as Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Battambang, Porsat, Kampong Chhnang, Bonteay meanchey, Prey Veng, Kampong Cham, Preah Sihanouk, Kandal and Kampong Spoe. Currently, FWN has 32,495 members with the cultivated area of 38,948ha and was registered in the MOI in December 6 2011.
Mission
Compiling Farmers Water User Communities ( FWUCs) from all levels of local, regional and national irrigation aimed to strengthen each other and find more corporations from all relevant partners.
Vision
Cambodian farmers are involved in the management, maintenance and use of sustainable irrigation.
Goal
The goal of the association network of farmers and water is enough water in irrigation, particularly in agriculture, environment and rural development.
