The Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) is the leading and longest-established membership organization for local and international NGOs in Cambodia. Since 1990, CCC has been working to strengthen the cooperation, accountability and development effectiveness of civil society organizations in Cambodia, and to promote inclusive partnership between government, civil society organizations, development partners, and private sector for sustainable development in Cambodia. CCC is now seeking the qualified internal and external candidates for a position below:


  1. Executive Director (One Post)


               The Executive Director is a visionary and a strategic leader who works effectively at the intersection of service delivery, community development, and business management. S/He brings a deep understanding of and commitment to the not-for-profit sector and appreciates the diverse ways in which Cambodia’s national development can be supported through cooperation and broad civic participation.


               The Executive Director engages others in a process of dialogue and relationship building. S/He is an interdisciplinary thinker who is innovative and pragmatic. The Executive Director is an enabler and facilitator. S/He enjoys exploring issues, while also recognizing that the ownership of ideas is less important than the result of the collaborative effort. S/He works with and is guided by a strong and active engaged Executive Committee (EXCOM) that elected from the membership organizations.


               To be fully articulate in written and oral communication skills is critical to the position. The Executive Director is an effective and persuasive communicator. S/He is able to manage complex and interdependent relationships with NGOs, to represent the diverse voice of NGOs, and to engage effectively with Government and other development actors. The Executive Director has strong leadership, organizational, administrative and general management, financial management, and fundraising skills.
