Head of the Early Childhood Resource Center

KrY, in close partnership with the French NGO Enfants& Développement (E&D), sets up a Resource Centre specialised in Early Childhood. This project aims at capitalising and disseminating KrY’s and other’s experience in early childhood in the non-formal sector to other Cambodian public and private actors.

Krousar Yoeung is looking for: Head of the Early Childhood Resource Centre (Based in Phnom Penh)

In charge of:The coordination of all activities implemented in the Resource Centre (Documentation and Training Centre)

Qualification and profile

The person possesses as a minimum requirement a Bachelor Certificate, has at least five years of experience, preferably in education, and has experience in staff management as well as in project cycle and financial management. He/she can speak and write in English and/or French fluently and have computer skills. He/she also subscribes to children’s rights and child participation.

It is expected that the person will be creative, hard working and enthusiastic, take initiative, and have good leadership skills and capacity to work in a team as well as communication and facilitation skills and ability in planning, monitoring and reporting.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Set up the Resource Centre and participate to the recruitment of its staff.
• Coordinate and support all activities for the Resource Centre (human resource management, coordination, planning, monitoring and evaluation activities) and report to the Executive Director.
• Participate in, lead and facilitate exchanges with other organisations and public authorities.
• Participate in, lead and facilitate public presentations of the achievements of the Resource Centre.
• Advocate KrY activities and mission, vision and values within the framework of the Resource Centre Project
