Anti Corruption Legislation rushed through National Assembly
On March 11th the National Assembly approved a controversial Anti Corruption Law. The draft was only made available on March 8th and this left lawmakers and civil society little time to analyse or respond.There had been no consultation on the draft since 2006.In Chapter 4 concerning Declaration of Assets and Liabilities civil society leaders have been included.
