Capacity Development and Learning
CCC offers a range of capacity development and learning opportunities for NGO staff. These are developed for a variety of target audiences, including CCC member organizations, NGOs applying for the NGO Governance & Professional Practice Voluntary Certification System, and NGO staff conducting fieldwork and/or research.
• Courses to develop the capacity of NGO staff to think critically, plan and conduct research, write and present findings
• Learning forums for CCC member organizations, encouraging peer learning and network-building
• Courses to strength organizational development and program management
• Mentoring and coaching for NGOs applying for the NGO Governance & Professional Practice Voluntary Certification System

Collectively the above courses aim to:
• strengthen capacity in research and analytical skills on development issues in response to the changing dynamics of Cambodia's civil society;
• increase participants' ability to effectively contribute to the effective development of their organization and programs;
• influence the participants' thinking and practices on development for the empowerment of local communities and in response to Cambodia's rapidly changing society;
• enable participants to more effectively contribute to programming and discussion in their organization and public debates.

The above fora collectively aim to:
• establish a foundation of shared understanding around key issues facing civil society practitioners;
• provide ongoing opportunity for cross-learning and exchanging best practices on key aspects of development practice;
• build strong and proactive networks where expertise in these areas are continuously shared and learned for individual career and institutional development;
• establish a culture of dynamic and active organizational learning within NGO community in Cambodia;
• develop learning resources and document best practices and lessons learned on each area to serve ongoing learning among civil society practitioners and other interested stakeholders.

The above course aims to:
• build capacity of participant NGOs about the concepts, importance and tools of organizational effectiveness for NGOs in Cambodia;

• promote good governance and practices within participant NGOs through compliance with the Voluntary Certification System (VCS).
