CCC's main activities focus around NGO coordination, representation and networking on key development issues, provision of NGO information services and general support for the development of the NGO sector through special projects and activities. CCC aims to:
- Promote NGO sector contributions the of development of Cambodia by building relationships with Royal Government of Cambodia officials, donors and other agencies;
- Contribute to the equitable and sustainable development of Cambodia by influencing government and donor development policy and agendas;
- Support the development of the NGO sector in Cambodia;
- Provide support and outreach for CCC members that facilitates their operations and improves their effectiveness.

I. NGO INFORMATION AND DIRECTORIES
CCC Publications: CCC produces a variety of NGO publications and directories aimed at facilitating communication among NGOs, the Royal Government of Cambodia and other development agencies in Cambodia. These publications provide important information on the work of NGOs and also serve to promote contributions of NGOs to the development of Cambodia. CCC Members receive free copies of each of these publications. For information on CCC's publications, look here.
Publications for sale: CCC also sells over 80 additional publications, produced by a number of different Local and International NGOs. These publications cover a wide range of development topics, including land, education, economics, management, capacity building and many others. Resource Center: The CCC maintains an invaluable resource centre with over 6,500 documents on various development related topics. The collection includes reports, books, journals, documents and textbooks. The resource centre receives new publications every week, including many research reports and publications from NGOs. II. A FORUM FOR ISSUES OF COMMON CONCERN
As issues of common concern arise in the development community, the CCC membership can present a united voice.
The United Nations, Embassies and other international agencies use the CCC as a point of contact with NGOs. Government Departments seek advice on NGO contacts and circulate information to NGOs through CCC.
The CCC can inform development policy through several main activities: seminars on program quality, capacity building and input to NGO contributions to the Consultative Group Meetings on Cambodia
III. ASSISTANCE WITH ASSISTANCE WITH GOVERNMENT LIAISON
The CCC provides advice to NGOs on issues such as government accreditation and protocol, staff salaries and others.
Member Liaison Groups: CCC has formed three member liaison groups to work with three key ministries: 1) Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) , 2) Ministry of Interior (MoI), and 3) Council for Development of Cambodia (CDC). The overall aim of each group is to improve communication between NGOs and the three ministries above through CCC resulting in increased understanding of NGO roles and the ministries' guide lines
As of December 2008, the 4 MLG has merged to a combination forum with 10 members representing NGOs and 8 members from minitries.
IV. ASSISTING INFORMATION EXCHANGE
CCC Bi-Monthly Meetings: CCC Bi-Monthly Meetings provide an opportunity to discuss issues and hear presentations by representatives from government departments, member agencies and other institutions on various themes. The Meetings are held on the first Tuesday on a bi-monthly basis from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the CCC Office.
NGO mailboxes: CCC is a unique clearinghouse for correspondence and contact with local groups, and provides over 400 NGO mailboxes at the CCC office. People can send letters or documents to NGOs through the mailboxes free of charge. For more information on how to open a mailbox, look here.
V. ANALYZING DEVELOPMENT ISSUES PROJECT (ADI Project)
The CCC runs a special project that analyses development issues to help strengthen the capacity of Cambodian NGO managers.
A four week training course is offered to examine key development issues, develop habits of critical thinking through research and problem solving skills and build confidence to contribute to planning and debate. More...
VI. NGO GOOD PRACTICE PRINCIPLES PROJECT (NGO GPP Project)
In August 2004, CCC commenced an 18 month NGO Good Practices Pilot Project. The project aims to ensure the legitimacy and credibility of NGOs by means of accountable guidelines. A Code of Conduct would focus on practical guidelines, which would describe how well-managed and responsibly-governed NGOs should and do operate.
