Analyzing Development Issues - The CCC ADI project courses aim to develop critical thinking of Cambodia NGO managers and field workers to improve their work and respond to changing conditions in Cambodia

 

NGO Good Practices Project - The CCC NGO GPP is a collective response by NGOs that aims to strengthen the NGO sector in Cambodia by encouraging and promoting NGO accountability and good organisational practice

 

Cambodia Learning Facilitator - It is home page aiming at learning from Cambodia’s development through our refection from a decade of development practice. We take historical, and socio-cultural factors of Cambodia into consideration in order to facilitate learning and positive changes in Cambodia. Economic Institute of Cambodia - EICambodia is an independent think-tank which provides essential information and a thorough insight into Cambodia’s socio-economic development

 

Community Information Centres- This is the Khmer language webportal for the CICs, which exists to give access to information on development-related information to people in the provinces

 

Cambodian Information Forum - The mission of the Open Forum of Cambodia's website, the Cambodian Information Forum, is to provide technology based opportunities and resources for Cambodia’s marginalized groups, including youth, women, elderly and the poor

 

United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific - (ESCAP) is the regional development arm of the United Nations for the Asia-Pacific region

 

Better Factories Cambodia - ILO Better Factories Cambodia aims to improve the working conditions in Cambodia's export garment factories. It combines independent monitoring with finding solutions, through suggestions to management, training, advice and information.

 

Khmer Rouge Trail Portal- The KR Trial Web Portal  in the  Khmer and English language was created with the main goal for the dissemination of information related to the trial of the former Khmer Rouge leaders nationally and internationally. It is managed by the Open Forum for Cambodia

 

Documentation Centre for Cambodia - DC-Cam aims to record and preserve the history of the Khmer Rouge regime for future generations as well as to compile and organize information that can serve as potential evidence in a legal accounting for the crimes of the Khmer Rouge

 

Media Consulting & Development - Media Consulting and Development (MC&D) is a private firm dedicated to strengthening the links between the media, business and development sectors in Cambodia

 

Cambodia's Government-Private Sector Forum - G-PSF aims to improve the business environment, build trust and encourage private sector investment through a demand driven process identifying issues and recommending solutions. By fostering capacity and a strong relationship between the government and private sector, the G-PSF is considered a key pillar in improving the investment climate in Cambodia.

AusAID - The Australian Agency for International Development works to assist developing countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia's national interest

CIDA - The Canadian International Development Agency administers the bulk of Canada's official development assistance (ODA) program. The measure of its success lies in its contribution to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Canada’s broader international policy objectives.

DANIDA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark's official website contains links to all aspects of Denmark's development policies, including the Danida DevForum, which provides news and information on development priorities and themes in Danish development assistance

DFID - The Department for International Development is the part of the UK Government that manages Britain's aid to poor countries and works to get rid of extreme poverty

JICA - The Japan International Cooperation Agency is an implementation agency for technical assistance, focusing on institution building, organization strengthening, and human resources development

USAID - USAID provides economic and humanitarian assistance to more than 100 countries throughout the world, including Cambodia

Selia program - The Selia program came to a close in December 2006. The activities carried out by Selia are now under the mandate of the National Committee for Management of the Decentralization and Deconcentration Reform (NCDD). Until NCDD's website is up and running, you can find relevant information hee at the Selia website.

Development Gateway - A good site containing development information and tools. Contains links to associated country Development Gateway sites across the globe

Impact Alliance - A global, capacity building alliance, focused on improving the social impact of people and organizations to build more vibrant, equitable and healthy communities

International Institute for Environment and Development - IIED is an international policy research institute and non governmental body working for more sustainable and equitable global development. Although based in London, IIED works globally through a wide range of long-standing partnerships with partners across the developing world

INTRAC - INTRAC (International NGO Training and Research Centre) works with NGOs and CSOs around the world by helping to explore policy issues and strenghtening management and organizational expertise

The Directory of Social Change - The Directory of Social Change, set up in 1975, aims to be an internationally recognised independent source of information and support to voluntary and community sectors worldwide. We enable the community and voluntary sectors to achieve their aims through being an independent voice, providing training and information.

The Development Executive Group - This is a leading membership organization bringing efficiency to international development through business development and recruitment services

The Capital Market Institute of Cambodia - The CMIC is an educational institution; it operates as an independent, neutral and non-partisan organization and undertakes dissemination, research, consultation, professional education and training of the capital markets, also it acts as focal points for researchers, academics and public-policy makers to exchange their ideas on upgrading of capital markets.

Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) - VSO is an international charity that recruits volunteers and promotes their work as a tol to fight global poverty and disadvantage

Volunteer Services Abroad (VSA) - VSA provides New Zealand volunteers to work with local people in developing countries, sharing skills to bring about appropriate, sustainable development

Peace Corps - Having only been active in Cambodia since 2006, Peace Corps provides Amercians the opportunity to volunteer in developing countries across a wide range of fields

Tabitha - Tabitha Foundation runs a House Building Program which allows volunteers to assist in constructing houses for the rural poor in Cambodia

Starfish Foundation - Starfish Foundation works in Sihanoukville and neighouring provinces to enhance access to social services. Starfish accepts donations and occasional volunteers with the right skills

PEPY - PEPY is a non-profit organization working to improve educational opportunities in rural Cambodia and offering unique adventures for those looking to give-back while they travel.

Volunteer in Cambodia - Provides fluent English speakers the opportunity to live and teach conversational English in Cambodia for up to three months

RAKO-Angkor - Remote Area Kids Organization was created in 2005 by a group of Khmer nationals and foreigners to focus on creating a nurturing and supportive educational environment for children in the remote area of Kirimanun, Siem Reap province.

Cambodian Volunteers for Community Development- Volunteer or donate to assist this Cambodian NGO to improve prospects and livelihoods of Cambodians through literacy and vocational skills programs

Projects Abroard - A UK based organization that offers volunteer projects for gap years, career breaks, electives and summer placements in fields such as teaching, conservation and environment, medicine and healthcare, business, law and human rights and journalism.

Youth Resource Development Program - YRDP provideds non formal education and capacity strengthening opportunities for tertiary-level students from university, faculties and institutions of higher education to develop their capacities to analyze their own situation and their country's situation. YRDP welcomes the services of volunteers with the right skills as well as donations

Global Giving - This organization works with network of well-run organizations and carefully research their project, raising awareness of project that people might not otherwise be aware of. Users can 'choose' the cause they are most passionate about and give to the solution

Email Foster Parents program - A program which allows a 'foster parent' to build a relationship with a child in need of support via email and monetary support. This program supports the Future Light Orphanage, located in Phnom Penh

Kiva - Adopting microfinance principles, Kiva allows you to lend to a specific entrepreneur in a developing country, empowering them to life themsleves out of poverty. Kiva also runs an Internship program

Resource Development International Cambodia - Hundreds of short term visitors every year assist RDIC in carrying out projects in Education, Building, Medicine and other fields in rural Cambodia
