Regional and Consultative Feedback Meetings:

NGO GPP has recently hosted a consultative feedback meeting and launching ceremony for the NGO Voluntary Certification System. The launching was to announce publicly that applications are now being sought from NGOs operating in Cambodia to apply for the certification from NGO GPP. More>> Press Release

NGO GPP is inviting representatives from the NGO community and other development stakeholders to participate in two special meetings. The regional meeting to be conducted in Battambang in September 2007 and the consultative feedback meeting to be held in Phnom Penh in December 2007. These meetings will focus on the dissemination of and feedback on the NGO good practice issues, NGO Code, and NGO Voluntary Certification System. 

Information Dissemination Meetings:

NGO GPP provides regular information dissemination meetings with NGO representatives in target provinces and Phnom Penh. The meetings are open to all interested NGOs to participate. We encourage participation of NGO leaders and senior staff members. The meetings focus on updates of NGO GPP project, discussions on NGO good practice issues, NGO governance and accountability, and NGO self regulations.  

NGO GPP Focus Group:

The direct target groups of NGO GPP are the NGO GPP Focus Group members. The 39 CNGO representatives and 2 INGO representatives located in 16 difference provinces /cities were selected to participate as the NGO GPP Focus Group members. This group represents organisations with varying budget sizes, staff numbers, and sectors of operation in Cambodia. More>> NGO GPP Focus Group Members List

The Focus Group members participate in regular bi-monthly workshops to share experiences and knowledge, to learn from each other and provide exposure to external resource persons in order to improve the quality of their NGO management and credibility. Topics of the workshops focus on Organisational Values, NGO Governance, Leadership and Management, etc. More>> Training plan

Regular field follow up visits are provided to NGO GPP Focus Group member organisations to understand the resulting changes or improvements made to the internal management structure or systems of the organisations, and any challenges resulting from implementing changes or improvements.
